Jordana decided to download a dating app. Within minutes, Mike sent Jordana a message that piqued her interest, and she decided to message back. That night, he asked her to meet him the next day after work. They met up at a local brewery for what was supposed to be one drink, but what turned into hours of talking, laughing, and even some dancing. Mike claims that that very first night, he knew Jordana was the woman he would marry, and he made it his mission to sweep Jordana off her feet. Soon enough, Jordana realized Mike was special. It didn't take long before they fell in love.

Eventually, Mike asked Jordana, "Move in with me and my sweet, affectionate, spoiled dog Sami?" Jordana said, "I'm not moving in unless I can bring my funny, beloved, mischievous cat Zelda." Mike said, "But I'm allergic." Well, Mike couldn't imagine his life without Jordana, and before he knew what was happening, he was stocking up on allergy pills and falling in love with Zelda too.

Living together was a breeze, and soon enough Mike bought a ring. In February, Mike and Jordana took a trip to the Pacific Northwest. Mike convinced Jordana that a proposal would not be coming for several months. Little did she know that he had the ring in his pocket for days! On Valentine's day (and Mike's birthday too), Mike took Jordana to a private romantic dinner. He slipped the ring to the chef. The chef hid it underneath the dessert. During the final course, Mike got down on one knee, said very sweet things, and asked Jordana to marry him. Jordana nodded enthusiastically, speechless, and said yes.
